The General Hospital recap for March 9-13, 2020, features villains reigning supreme – which isn’t exactly shocking. What did shock us was the surprise hook-up between a certain pair of baddies and the potential for a paternity pickle.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Villains in Port Charles tend to prosper – even when they’re imprisoned in an 80-square foot solitary cell – and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Julian Jerome are no exceptions.
Despite the formers accommodation change, he was able to arrange for TJ’s kidnapping and ensure Jordan’s co-operation in helping him expand his evil empire.
As for the latter, he managed to get away scot-free after Brad was frightened into submission by Sonny and he even managed to lead his son-in-law’s bestie up to his boudoir.
Unlucky Liesl
In fact, the only baddie suffering from a case of bad luck is Liesl – the most recent innocent to be locked away in a PCPD holding cell. Well, innocent of this particular charge. And, to be honest, she’s only in this predicament because ANOTHER evil-doer succeeded in framing her for his crimes. See, it does pay to be bad – at least in this town.
GH Musings
Raise your hands everyone who thinks we’re in for a “Curtis is actually Trina’s Father” storyline. Surely, this sudser wouldn’t lay the groundwork for such a seismic reveal and then squander it…right?
Diane: “Unless you can marry a paragon – someone of good character, with excellent credentials, who radiates kindness and benevolence – essentially, Snow White and Mary Poppins all rolled into one – then don’t get married at all.”
Uh oh, that doesn’t bode well for near felon Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) – and just when she and Michael (Chad Duell) were sure they were ready to give matrimony a whirl! However, the woman Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) described sounds an awful lot like one Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen)…
Britt: “I was fighting to get my medical license. You wouldn’t believe what I had to do to get it back.” In point of fact, we would LOVE to know how you, an embryo-snatching, child-endangering, spawn of supervillains managed to regain your doctoring privileges.
Britt: “I understand what it’s like to fall in love with a child that’s not yours. I only carried Lulu and Dante’s baby to get Patrick back, but after little Ben was born, I love him so much.” In case anyone is a bit confused, “little Ben” was returned to Lulu and Dante and renamed Rocco.
Is there anyone here looking forward to an actual Britt/Julian pairing or are you just fine with their assignation being a one-time-only deal? If it’s the former, can we agree that Juliatt is a great smoosh name? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
