The General Hospital recap for Friday, August 30 features a confession – kinda , a piece of unwanted mail, an audacious plan, and a trip down memory lane.
Ava (Maura West) insisted that Julian (William deVry) open Charlie’s early so she could harp about a letter she received from Ryan.
Later, when the pub was up and operational, Ava asked Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) if there was any legal recourse to stop her psychotic ex from sending her any sort of correspondence. But, as Alexis explained, prisoners — even the most crazed — have the right to send and receive mail.
Scotty (Kin Shriner) arrived at Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) to discuss Franco’s (Roger Howarth) new normal and Elizabeth thought she had the perfect solution to their problem. She just needs legal eagle Scotty on board.
She explained that they can make a case to get Franco declared mentally incapacitated and, as his wife, Elizabeth can have him committed to Shadybrooke until Drew locates Andre and brings him to Port Charles. Scotty agreed that the plan just might work and set off to get the gears in motion.
Kim (Tamara Braun) came upon Dranco at Oscar’s Meadow and he managed to get her talking about the memorial service for their son. The two began to bond but Kim suddenly realized that she is speaking to her good friend’s husband and not her former boyfriend.
She tried to leave but Dranco stopped her and explained that he wanted to say goodbye — he is leaving town.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) picked up little James who had spent a night at his grandparents house and she was delighted at the news that Mac (John J. York) would be staying on at the PCPD. Furthermore, Maxie shared that she and Peter (Wes Ramsey) were blissfully happy and totally in love.
The feisty fashionista remained completely unaware that her new boyfriend had spent the entire morning having a nightmare about revealing his involvement in the Jason/Drew debacle, getting rejected by Maxi, and being shot dead by a vengeful Jason! That sure was somethin’! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
