General Hospital Recap: Peter And Maxie Are Now A Thing!

The General Hospital recap for Monday, April 8 features the end of the “will they or won’t they” with Maxie and Peter that’s been going on for more than a year.

Yes, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) has feelings for Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Peter has feelings for Maxie, so they finally confessed this to one another and sealed it with a kiss.

Anna (Finola Hughes) looked on happily as she saw her matchmaking efforts take effect and totally ignored the fact that Finn (Michael Easton) was trying to propose to her.

Then, Robert (Tristan Rogers) showed up, oblivious to what Finn was up to and told Anna that the memory Alex told her about was indeed Anna’s.

Lulu (Emme Rylan) also showed up at The Floating Rib and interrupted Peter and Maxie’s moment to tell them she’s leaving town for a mental health vacation indefinitely.

The Floating Rib was a happening place as Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had a makeshift therapy session there when she ran into Neil (Joe Flanigan) and told him her daughter had joined a cult. He warned her to be very careful about how she handles the mental state that led Kristina to do this.

Meanwhile, Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) was all smiles at the DOD house as she awaited her evening ceremony in the attic. Even Harmony arrived at Kristina’s fangirl greetings and helped her prepare.

Sam (Kelly Monaco) feigned support of this big moment but then snuck up to the attic where she discovered tapestries and candles, as well as a bag full of tattoo equipment.

Over at the elementary school, Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) taunted Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) as Chase (Josh Swickard) warned him to stay away. He called Willow by her given name, Callie, and made his exit after showing her a pic of their time together. Willow then showed Chase her tattoo.

Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) discussed Shiloh and Sam informed them Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is into Dawn of Day. This alarmed them both and soon Neil showed up at Sonny’s as if he were some sort of secret weapon.
