The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, June 9, 2020, features everyone wondering where Anna and Henrik are. There was also the end of the 18th Nurses Ball and the birth of James West.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
The Nurses Ball attendees are aghast over Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) sudden appearance and vicious assault of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). They are further stunned when Robert arrests his victim for his involvement with Henrik (Wes Ramsey).
Valentin warns Robert that Anna (Finola Hughes) is walking into a trap just as Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Steve Burton) deduce the location of Anna and Henrik’s impending rendezvous.
While Anna anxiously awaited the arrival of “her” son, Peter busied himself with midwife duties. Though the ambulance he called for Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was en route, her baby was determined to arrive first.
After ensuring that the mother and child were fine, Peter arrived at the pier. Anna was shocked to see that Peter and Henrik were one and the same and that he had arrived armed with a handgun!
Mike Knows The Show Must Go On
Back in the ballroom, Mike (Max Gail) took to the stage and began to perform The Summer Wind. However, he forgot the words to the song. Enter Sonny (Maurice Benard), who collected his own microphone and joined his father in singing.
Afterward, Ava (Maura West), concerned over Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Kiki’s (Hayley Erin) closeness, sang You Don’t Own Me, and directed the lyrics at both her new beau and Sonny. Then the show was closed with a final song from the hospital’s dedicated nurses.
Good Help Is So Hard To Find
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) came bearing flowers for “Cook Two” – her way of saying thanks for saving her bacon and cooking all the food for the entire gala. She also came with a job offer: take over the kitchen at the Metro Court.
No thanks, said the cook. She got a better offer from a hotelier based in Rome. She was packing up and shipping out that night! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
