The General Hospital recap for Monday, May 10, 2021, features Peter going to violent extremes, Nina playing double agent, and Carly bogarting a conversation.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) desperate to get his hands on his and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) baby. So desperate in fact, that he dispatched the actual nurse that his would-be bride chose to hire – yes, he almost certainly murdered an innocent woman – and sent a decoy in her place. Looks like Maxie is gearing up to star in her very own Lifetime Original Movie.
Good Cop, Bad Cop
“Mike” (Maurice Benard) doesn’t like Elijah (Dan White); truth be told, he has ample reason not to. So, why is Nina (Cynthia Watros) insisting on letting the obvious bad guy wine and dine her? Why, to get the home-court advantage, of course. She and “Mike” can’t bring Elijah down without evidence, now can they?
That’s What Friends Are For
In a barn somewhere on the outskirts of Port Charles, New York, the alliance between Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason (Steve Burton) is momentarily ended. But once properly caffeinated, the two are again thick as thieves.
Meanwhile, at Casa Corinthos, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) has a momentary epiphany: yes, she’s a hypocritical, judgmental shrew. Luckily, Carly (Laura Wright) was on hand to get the thought right out of the young woman’s head. And then she changed the conversation to herself and worry over Jason. Because the world revolves around Carly, don’t ya know?
Credit Where It’s Due
Ned (Wally Kurth) swung by Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) to sing to what he assumed was a baby in his daughter’s belly, and his actions greatly impressed Olivia (Lisa LoCicero)…because the Quartermaines in general, and Ned in particular, aren’t known for great parenting.
Before he took his leave, Ned thanked Olivia for being a good influence on Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), and Olivia, in turn, hinted that maybe, just maybe, she and Ned would be all right. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
