The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 18 features Oscar more determined than ever to stop his parents from forcing him undergo experimental treatment.
Comfort Zone
Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) spoke with Kim (Tamara Braun) about the loss of a child, opening up about BJ. It was obvious it touched her personally.
Oscar (Garren Stitt) wanted to know why Joss called Cameron (Will Lipton), but he avoided the question.
Oscar then went to the hospital to see Kim and told her he wanted to be allowed to make his own decisions for his birthday. She tried to talk him into the experimental treatment, but he insisted it won’t happen.
Carly (Laura Wright) and Bobbie met up and Bobbie told her that Kim seemed personally affected about the losses of BJ and Jonah.
Digging Deeper
Julian (William deVry) told Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) he still cares but then talk turned to Kim and Oscar. She told him about Oscar’s talk with her and when he asked for more, she got a text about a meeting.
Truth and Nothing But
Kim found Julian at Charlie’s and vented about Oscar. He guessed that Oscar’s sick and Kim cried on his shoulder.
Meanwhile, Oscar told Alexis about his cancer. She mentioned her lung cancer and how there are options but Oscar didn’t want to hear it. She advised he work it out with his folks but he wanted to hire her. Their conversation didn’t go unnoticed by Carly.
Plan B
Joss (Eden McCoy) welcomed Cam and told him how she plans to get Oscar back. Cam tried to get her to move on but eventually gave in.
Going to the Chapel
Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) told Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) the ballroom, where they wanted the wedding, was already booked. Then, Olivia got a better idea and made it happen — they will marry on the Haunted Star.
Teach Your Children
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco (Roger Howarth) met with Aiden’s teacher, who suspects he’s having social trouble. He refuses to go outside and be with the other kids. The teacher asked them to gently approach him about what’s wrong as the adults worried.
