The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, February 20 features Laura finally finding out from her husband what the heck’s been going on with him all these months. Now she doesn’t feel so crazy after all.
Laura (Genie Francis) wasn’t one of soaps’ greatest female mystery-solvers back in the day for nothing. She lived a life with Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) and can tell when something’s just not right. Heck, she even lived with the Cassadines for a while.
So, when she saw both Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Ryan (Jon Lindstrom, again) together, she put it all together real quick, but finally got the deets from Kevin after Ryan left them alone together in the Ferncliff basement.
Boy was Laura relieved to learn the man that visited her in August was indeed the man she married.
Back in town, Cameron (Will Lipton) was shocked and appalled that Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) married Franco (Roger Howarth) with everything he’s been accused of. Liz defended her new husband, but Cameron wasn’t going for it.
Later, Joss (Eden McCoy), Oscar (Garren Stitt), and Trina stopped by and they planned a trip to Niagara Falls.
Over at the courthouse, Franco (Roger Howarth) was fully expected to plea not guilty, but shocked everyone except Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) when he plead guilty.
Scott (Kin Shriner) managed to get him remanded to Ferncliff, but Elizabeth was furious and tossed her brand-new wedding rings on the ground.
Lulu (Emme Rylan) was also shocked and something didn’t feel right to her. Never mind that she was the only one who walked in there thinking Franco was guilty to begin with.
Ava (Maura West) and Ryan were also stunned, especially since he’s the only one besides Franco who knows for sure Franco didn’t do it.
