The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, February 17, 2021, features Nina, Curtis, and Lesley making their true feelings known, and Sam declaring her independence.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) attempt to pull Jax (Ingo Rademacher) away from Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) service and into a private conversation devolved into her loudly accusing him and Carly (Laura Wright) of covering up the true circumstances of Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) death.
While Jason (Steve Burton) worked to steer the other mourners away from the scene, Nina revealed that she knew Carly had been at the cliff the night Nelle fell – and she’s sure that Carly COULD have saved the girl’s life but chose not to.
Nina also turned her ire towards Jason and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), whom she dubbed Cary’s enablers — and towards Jax, whom she insisted was no white knight but merely a bad man with a good tan! (Possible.)
Testing, Testing
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) called an emergency meeting of the hospital board in the hopes of getting their unanimous approval to fast track the rollout of his highly effective – and highly addictive – painkiller.
Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) and Portia (Brook Kerr) fought the good fight and wound up forcing Cyrus to go before the full board at request a vote at a later date. But there were no hard feelings on Cyrus’s part. Allegedly.
Heart To Heart
Curtis (Donnell Turner) answered Jordan’s (Briana Nicole Henry) summons, but he wasn’t at all ready to talk reconciliation. In fact, he was far more interested in talking about long-term separation.
Jordan cried and claimed that she had no idea why her husband felt that particular way. He rightfully called her out for her use of lies and half-truths. In the end, both accepted that the marriage had grown too toxic to continue. But will they ever be able to come back together? Jordan’s hopeful; Curtis, not so much.
Getting Personal
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) returned to Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) and passed the time with copious amounts of scotch and a frank discussion. Sam admitted that the events of the day had solidified her decision to leave Jason, and the mob life, in her rearview mirror. Just call her Sam…Mrs. Morgan has left the building.
True Crime
While Sonny (Maurice Benard) escorted a drunk patron back to his abode, The Tan-o was robbed and trashed. Looks like Officer Finchley will have yet another crime to pin on “Mike.” General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
