The General Hospital recap for February 8-12, 2021, features Peter confiding in Valentin, Britt making waves at the hospital, and Nina reaching out to an old friend.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
After much pressure from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), Peter (Wes Ramsey) confessed to a litany of sins. Yes, he had Drew Cain’s plane sabotaged. Yes, he arranged for a hitman to eliminate Franco (Roger Howarth) and Dr. Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery). And yes, he set Liesl up and allowed her to take the fall.
Valentin agreed to keep his friend’s secrets, but only after his pleas for complete transparency fell on deaf ears. Before parting, Valentin issued a warning: Liesl had been sprung from prison and she’s more than likely gunning for Peter.
Boss Lady
Over at GH, Franco’s radiation appointment was stalled when the technician refused to treat the former serial killer. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) insisted that the entire situation was Dr. Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) fault – especially in the wake of Franco recalling the fight between Britt and Peter over his use of her hospital computer.
Britt denied the charge…though she did eventually accept ultimate responsibility since she was the hospital’s chief of staff. Later, Britt ensured that the touchy tech would be fired, and promised that no one in her hospital would make the decision of who is and is not worthy of treatment.
It’s All Relative
Meanwhile, Nina (Cynthia Watros) ignored her hunch that the gentleman answering the Tan-o’s phone was known to her and instead asked to speak to Phyllis (Joyce Guy). Then she begged her former nurse to make a one-day return to Port Charles – there were questions that needed answering, and Phyllis was the only one with the latter.
But Phyllis worried about leaving “Mike.” He managed to talk her around, however, and Phyllis made plans to take her leave. Back in PC, Nina vowed to a visiting, and obviously concerned Ava (Maura West), that she was going to insinuate herself into Wiley’s life…whether Carly (Laura Wright) liked it or not!
