General Hospital Recap: Nik Tells Laura He’s Setting A Stalker Trap

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Nobody is particularly happy to learn that Ava (Maura West) is intent on divorcing her husband. Not mother-in-law Laura (Genie Francis), not attorney, and best friend, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), and especially not hubs himself. In fact, Nikolas is so intent on keeping his marriage intact, that he’s setting up a trap to lure out Ava’s stalker, reasoning that if the psycho is caught, Ava would have no reason to leave him. Fingers crossed.

Face of Conception

Lovers and expectant parents Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) promised to be there for one another moving forward – and then the former proceeded to leave the latter alone with his persnickety mother. Perhaps gallantry really is dead.

After taking much delight in teasing Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs), Sasha headed off for a meeting with business partner Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) – the very same meeting being crashed by Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Color Maxie and Nina shocked to see Sasha greatly with child.

GH Recap: A Potent Pairing

If Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) know anything, it’s that now’s the time to hit back against the Novak family – and hit back hard they shall. But the pair are also painfully aware that further action will be necessary. Enter Ava, who unintentionally gives them the idea for the next power move: exchange wedding vows!

Character Study

Super sleuth Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has great instincts where people are concerned – unless their name is Peter August (Wes Ramsey). So, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) saw no reason to doubt her gut feeling that Dr. Austin StillNoLastName (Roger Howarth) is good people. But Anna just might have got another one wrong.

Because though he appears to be pure in his intention to return “Miss Maxie’s” baby to her, he’s also awfully interested in one Mr. Jason Morgan…and Scott is all too happy to help the stranger learn everything he wants to know.
