The General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 21, 2020 features further testimony in the custody hearing, Robert desperate for answers, trouble brewing for Olivia and Ned, and Brook Lynn getting a rude awakening.
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was called to the stand to testify in her fight for her son. While questioned she doubled down on her claim that Brad (Parry Shen) stole Wiley on his own accord.
Furthermore, she claimed that she loved “Jules” (William deVry) with every fiber of her being. While cross-examining the witness, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) managed to bring up Nelle’s assault on Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and her near-kidnapping of Wiley.
Next, it was Julian’s turn to sit in the witness box. Diane brought up his attack on Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), as well as his arrest on charges of drug trafficking, extortion, attempted murder, and more. Clearly, a perfect candidate for fatherhood!
Afterward, Sam (Kelly Monaco) slapped her father across the face and revealed that both she and Lucas (Ryan Carnes) have decided that he is dead to them.
Laura (Genie Francis) happened upon Robert (Tristan Rogers) and listened to him hypothesize that Holly (Emma Samms) had actually survived the sinking of the WSB ship.
He surprised her by revealing that he was desperate to contact Luke (Tony Geary) – he wants to get the old team back together and hunt for clues. Trouble is, the notoriously secretive Luke has changed his number. Laura suggested that he get the information from Tracy (Jane Elliot).
Ned (Wally Kurth) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) learned that Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) has been seeking the advice of a psychic. While Ned tried to offer his wife some comfort (and only managed to make her feel foolish), Brook Lynn took off to track down Linc (Dan Buran). She’s just learned that somebody is staging a hostile takeover of ELQ and she wants to know who in the world she sold her shares to!
Robert swung by Monica’s (Leslie Charleson) in order to get Luke’s info and he wound up bolstering Olivia’s spirits…and Ned was none too happy to see how chummy his missus was getting with the Aussie gent.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was handed another vial of suspicious-looking white powder by Crimson’s friendly neighborhood dealer. Now that everyone’s sure that Deception will be a sure-fire hit there’s no telling when she might need another little “pick me up.” General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
