The General Hospital recap for Monday, June 24 features Carly dropping the ball, Jax getting the wrong end of the stick and Willow continuing her perennial losing streak.
Carly (Laura Wright) ran into Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) at the hospital where Bobbie showed her Brad (Parry Shen), doubled over in pain and insisting his time was nigh. Bobbie countered he was either suffering from very bad acid reflux or suffering from a panic attack and inquired if there was anything giving Brad undue stress.
An indignant Carly demanded that Brad tell Bobbie everything about baby Wiley and after Lucas (Ryan Carnes) arrived to check on his husband, Bobbie exited and greeted her son’s co-conspirator, Julian (William deVry), with a slap across his face.
An angry Curtis (Donnell L. Turner) confronted Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) at the police station and chided her for leaving the hospital unsupervised. Jordan admitted that she fears that if her leave from the force is much longer then Mac will take over her position full time.
Curtis was able to talk her around and he admitted that he has accepted Valentin’s offer to dig up dirt on Jax but a disapproving Jordan wondered why he has aligned himself with a villain.
Jax (Ingo Rademacher) arrived at the Crimson office with Josslyn (Eden McCoy) where the teen was hit with a double whammy of a surprise. First, she came face to face with Ava (Maura West) — consulting with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) on her outfits for the magazine cover and feature spread. Then she learned Jax had brought her there to ask about an internship.
A father/daughter chat revealed that Jax had misunderstood Josslyn and Maxie’s talk a few days earlier (when they were discussing Oscar and the séance) and he had wanted her to work in a place where she would be happy.
Maxie questioned if Josslyn made contact and the young woman told her about the water rippling when she and her friends were reminiscing about Oscar. Ava overheard the whole exchange and began her own plans for contacting Kiki.
Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) called Chase (Josh Swickard) and implored him to collect Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and get her to the courthouse. He found her at the school where she had just learned she was being reinstated and rushed her to the hearing.
They arrived moments before the judge (in complete disregard to the letter, if not the spirit, of the law) decreed that Willow must reveal everything about her baby and it’s adoption to Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin).
