The General Hospital recap for Monday, July 15 features a mother desperate for closure and a number of characters owning their past mistakes and looking forward to living better, more fulfilled lives. Oh, and a shooting.
At the Ithaca facility, Dante managed to get a hold of a gun and shoot Peter. A hysterical Maxie (Kristen Storms) managed to compose herself long enough to insist Peter be taken to GH. Upon arrival at the hospital, Peter was taken for observation and Finn did his best to comfort Maxie.
Maxie bemoaned the fact that she didn’t listen to reason and leave Dante to heal on his own time. She is certain that Peter’s shooting is all her fault. She already lost her first child due to her pig-headed wrongness. Will she also lose her boyfriend?
At Charlie’s, Julian (William deVry) complimented Ava (Maura West) for laying herself bare for the upcoming Crimson interview. However, when he overhead Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and Ava talking about Sibley Gamble he questioned how his sister could let herself get suckered by a con woman. A misty-eyed Ava told him she needed to make peace with Kiki before she could truly heal.
Over at General Hospital, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Finn (Michael Eastman) met up outside of Franco’s office and stopped to have a friendly chat. Finn confided that he was struggling with his feelings concerning Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) return.
Across town at the Metro Court, the cause of Finn’s misfortunate was dining with Laura (Genie Francis). Laura filled Hayden in on Spencer’s progress at his boarding school and their conversation turned to Nicholas. Ava’s arrival caused the lunching ladies to scatter.
Back at the Metro Court, Jason (Steve Burton) took Carly (Laura Wright) aside to discuss Dev (Ashton Arbab). He told her that he worries Dev will get himself in trouble and bring the family down with him.
Concerned by Jason’s words Carly met up with Sonny for a soul-baring conversation. She listed many of her past crimes and admitted she was ashamed. She worried that Dev will follow the same pattern of making mistake upon mistake. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
