The General Hospital recap for Thursday, April 23, 2020, features everybody reflecting on their pasts – and their failures in particular.
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) agonized over her next move. Mac’s (John J York) dogged determination to track down TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) kidnappers wasn’t bringing her much comfort.
She wondered if perhaps she should just turn herself in to her underlings. They say confession is good for the soul after all. Luckily, Curtis (Donnell Turner) was able to dissuade her of the notion.
Meanwhile, Mac interviewed TJ about his experience. Though the young man couldn’t remember much, he did provide Mac with a lead that he later told Jordan he was sure would pay off.
Brando (Johnny Wactor) shot his mouth off about the gullible people who joined Dawn of Day, which didn’t exactly endear him to either Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) or Sam (Kelly Monaco).
In recompense, he offered the ladies a discount anytime they needed their cars serviced. Kristina was displeased that he didn’t offer them something for free. Sam labeled him a jerk. And Molly (Haley Pullos) cornered him outside Charlie’s and chastised him for talking to her sisters.
Doesn’t he understand that his gorgeous self is too blame for her cheating on sweet, precious TJ? He needs to stay out of her life, her family’s life, and the lives of anyone she knows or has ever looked at!
Sonny (Maurice Benard) relived the agony of watching Mike’s (Max Gail) Alzheimer’s worsen and hearing that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) was being interviewed by Lulu (Emme Rylan) didn’t improve his mood.
He informed Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason (Steve Burton) that Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) had suggested both palliative care and a DNR order for Mike. When the duo wondered what decision he had reached, Sonny merely insisted that the old Mike was still within reach.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Neil (Joe Flanigan) met at the Metro Court to discuss some new developments: his license to counsel has been revoked, he has no job and though it comes as a shock to Alexis, he’s also a little bit angry.
