The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, May 5, 2021, features Carly putting Cyrus in his place, Cameron learning a terrible truth, and danger abounding for Britt and Jason.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Carly (Laura Wright) set herself at the head of the meeting table and got down to the business of selling herself as Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) rightful successor. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) did his best to dissuade the family heads from giving his rival any credence, but after news reached him that Carly had destroyed a shipment of his illegal product, he lost the confidence of the group.
Each representative pledged their loyalty to Carly, and she in turn warned Cyrus that he’d better come to heel before a worse fate befalls him. Later, she took a meeting with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) who wondered where Jason (Steve Burton) was hiding. Call my lawyer, Carly offered.
The Grilling
Over at the PCPD, Cameron (William Lipton) was cleared of all charges relating to Jason’s shooting – turns out the bullet that struck the criminal in the back was fired from BEHIND Cameron…or so Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) says.
And while that was good news for Cameron – yay, no jail time – his problems only increased after he overheard Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Scotty (Kin Shriner) talking about Peter (Wes Ramsey) being responsible for Franco’s (Roger Howarth) death.
Small Town, Big Problems
Not only is Nina (Cynthia Watros) staying put in Nixon Falls, but she’s finally moving out of Lenny’s (Rif Hutton) and Phyllis’s (Joyce Guy) guest room and into a dwelling all her own. And “Mike” couldn’t be happier.
Well, actually he could be…if only Elijah (Dan White) would stay far, far away. Fingers crossed that the scene “Mike” witnessed – Elijah paying off one of the men who held up the Firehouse Dance – will be the final nail in the baddy’s proverbial coffin.
A Not So Safehouse
Jason did his best to leave his sickbed and go assist Carly, and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) did her best to dissuade him. They wound up discussing his heroic deeds, and Britt thanked him for literally saving her life.
Afterward, the two were shocked to hear someone approaching the door. Brace for battle! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
