The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, August 12, 2020 features a court decision, a showdown between corporate figureheads, and Felix giving Sonny the lowdown on Mike.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Sole custody of Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos was granted to Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Despite the ruling, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) warned the exuberant group that she would always have a part in her son’s life.
Afterward, Nelle also cautioned an annulment-seeking Julian (William deVry) that she was far from done with him. She has a child to kidnap and she’s going to need all the help she can get.
A House Divided
Over at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson), Lucy (Lynn Herring) stunned the Quartermaines by siding with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and his decision to abandon ELQ’s funding of GH.
Furthermore, she also sided with the interloper when he called a vote to oust Ned (Wally Kurth) as CEO of the company and install himself in the top spot! Ned was outraged by Lucy’s betrayal but what’s a girl to do? Side with her former in-laws or the man that holds her cosmetics company’s future in the palm of his hands?
However, Ned’s true ire was directed at Brook Lynn (Briana Lane), whom he ordered out of the house and out of his life. She packed a bag, exited stage left, and he slammed the door in her face.
Mike Is Ready To Go Home
Felix (Marc Samuel) used his knowledge of Mike’s (Max Gail) communication skills to help Sonny (Maurice Benard) understand that his father wants to return to Turning Woods…the only place he recognizes as home.
At What Cost Love?
Sam (Lindsay Hartley) delighted in Jason’s (Steve Burton) awakening but he was none too happy to learn of the lengths she went to in order to ensure their continued interaction.
Jax (Ingo Rademacher) caught Nina (Cynthia Watros) wallowing in despair over Nelle and her situation and he admonished her for giving the villainess a second thought. Instead, he suggested that they turn their attention to locating Nina’s missing daughter.
And that locket that Nina keeps so close to her person is the key to it all. Luckily Jax knows a person who knows a thing or two about the piece and its creator. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
