The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, May 27, 2020, features a continued look back at the 2014 Nurses Ball. There were more performances, a change of leadership at ELQ, and multiple pleas for forgiveness.
Once she shooed away “Magic Milo” and his half-naked retinue off the stage – least they have to submit to Epiphany’s (Sonya Eddy) demand for the Full Monty – Lucy (Lynn Herring) announced a surprise guest performer…Blackie Parish (John Stamos)!
Unluckily for the hostess, Mr. Parish was a no show. Good thing Brad (Parry Shen) was just itching to make an impression on Lucas (Ryan Carnes). He took to the stage and belted out Brokenhearted. Lucas, however, didn’t seem too impressed.
Next up, it was Mac (John J York) the *ahem* ventriloquist and his childhood “friend” Mr. Marbles. But it only took two jokes to make Epiphany snap. She stormed the stage and murdered Mr. Marbles…and received the loudest applause of the night!
It’s never easy to follow the crowds favorite act, but the Haunted Starlets – Kiki (Kristen Alderson), Sam (Kelly Monaco), Molly (Haley Pullos), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) – gave it the old college try, as did Cameron (Michael Leone) and Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) and Player (featuring Ron Moss).
Fluke (Tony Geary) bemoaned his marriage to Tracy (Jane Elliot) but celebrated the fact that he was this close to acquiring ELQ. Not so fast, said Ned (Wally Kurth). Per an emergency meeting of company stockholders, Tracy is out at CEO and Michael (Chad Duell) is in. Good Guys:1. Evil Alternate Personalities: 0.
There were an awful lot of people in want of a second chance. Spencer (Nicolas Bechtel) really wanted Emma to dump Cameron the townie and give him a second chance.
Ric (Rick Hearst) really wanted a do-over where he and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were concerned. Ditto for Brad who was so desperate to make his point that he pulled Lucas in for a kiss.
And Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) was really, really sorry for the schemes that she had been pulling as of late. Could Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) find it in his heart to forgive and forget? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
