The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, October 7, 2020, features familial connections uncovered, Anna learning the depth of her twin’s treachery, and Ned deciding to keep his adultery to himself.
Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) had three big items to tick off her to-do list. The first was to revenge herself against Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). That feat was accomplished with a fist to his kidney!
The second was to investigate Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) allegations against Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). But that would have to wait on the completion of item number three…reuniting with her beloved son, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
Though Chase was sorely glad to see his mother, Finn (Michael Easton) was less than pleased. Jackie, to her credit, wasn’t exactly chuffed to see her stepson…especially since he had been so cruel to his father. But the trio was able to digress and decide that a mother-son catch up was in order – though it could wait since Finn and Chase had a guys’ night out previously scheduled.
So while the men discussed Chase’s new status as best man, and mourned his loss of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Jackie saddled up next to Robert and decided that the two of them should bury the hatchet.
Meanwhile, Anna (Finola Hughes) took a private meeting with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and learned that an assassin had been present at the meeting point arranged by her sister, Alex. Despite his best efforts to get Anna to reveal exactly why Alex would want her dead, Valentin was left wanting.
Over at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson), Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) decried Ned’s (Wally Kurth) accusation that she had been unfaithful and wondered how he could ever suspect her of such an act.
Ned apologized for his actions; Olivia forgave him. Then the two discussed the predicaments that Olivia had involved herself in. When the moment for transparency arose, Ned decided to keep mum about his liaison with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), leaving Olivia squarely in the dark.
Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) is desperate to ensure her success as the Voice of Deception despite the loss of her own voice. Enter Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorkin), nurse and bourgeoning songstress, who knows a thing or two about outsourcing work. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
