The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 18, 2019 features really bad news for Sam, a secret revealed (again), and a shock collapse for Ava.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrived at the PCPD and was clearly distressed that neither Sam (Kelly Monaco) nor Jason (Steve Burton) had filled her in about the recent goings-on. My bad — claimed Sam. Jason interrupted the mother-daughter pow-wow with some tidings of great joy. He is absolutely sure that Bryce will be rating out his partner at any moment.

It’s just too bad that to quote Ryan (Jon Lindstrom), “something terrible has happened.” Apparently Bryce somehow stole Ryan’s extra sharp ballpoint pen and ended his life. But responding detective Chase (Josh Swickard) wasn’t buying the story.

In fact, he was very quick to realize that Bryce was offed for saying some less-than-savory things about Ava (Maura West). To prove his point he did the same and it’s a miracle he’s still alive.

Chase called Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and let her know of the newest development and the commissioner did the same thing for Mayor Collins. The phone call interrupted Laura (Genie Francis) and Ava’s bonding session so Laura had Julian (William deVry) called and asked him to come over to support his sister.

When he told Ava the reason for Bryce’s murder she collapsed into his arms. Back at Pentonville, Ryan was escorted from his cell and had to suffer a great indignity — his poster of Ava was confiscated.

Takes One to Know One

Meanwhile, Michael (Chad Duell) filled Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) in on the Cassadine wedding that wasn’t. When Carly admonished Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) for her lies, Michael told her that he had known for weeks about her deception.

Carly insisted that Sasha was nothing but a deceptive liar — and she practically admitted she and Sonny were ones too but they raised Michael not to associate with people like them! Michael informed …continue reading on the next page —>

General Hospital Recap: Flowers For Mr. Cooper Jones

After worrying that Julian’s warning about Dr. Byrne doing more harm than good, Brad (Parry Shen) had to contend with questions from Curtis (Donnell Turner) about Sasha and the three faked DNA tests.

Later, a mystery someone sent Brad a bouquet of flowers, which disturbed both him and Lucas. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
