The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, October 13, 2020, features Paxie taking things to the next level, Anna and Finn discussing an inconvenient truth, Chase telling falsehoods and asking for miracles, and the Deception team trying to bluff their way to a shelf near you.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Despite learning that he does not possess any genetic traits that could impede his unborn child’s development, Peter (Wes Ramsey) still fretted. And this apparently appealed to Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) inner caretaker since she proposed to him on the spot. Peter, of course, accepted. Maxie was thrilled, and even battle-hardened Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) couldn’t stifle the expression of human emotion.
Sister, Sister
Anna’s (Finola Hughes) delight in planning her upcoming wedding was superseded by her worry over Alex (also Finola Hughes) and the assassination she narrowly avoided. When apprised of the situation, Finn (Michael Easton) offered what he believed to be the most obvious solution: tell Peter that Alex could be his mother.
But Anna refused to entertain the notion. What if the revelation drove Peter back to his villainous ways? But when Finn countered that danger would lurk around every corner until the truth was outed, Anna began to give credence to his initial suggestion.
A House Divided
Over at the Floating Rib, Chase (Josh Swickard) continued to double down on his lie that he had cheated on Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Jackie (Kim Delaney), the latest to hear his version of the story, attempted to push him towards reconciliation. But Chase insisted that the ship had sailed.
Instead, he wanted to work with his mother on healing the rift between Finn and their father. Jackie insisted that THAT ship had sailed. And when Chase continued to push, Jackie warned him to mind his own business.
Nelle Benson – R.I.P
After overhearing Julian’s (William deVry) plans to have Nelle (Chloe Lanier) buried in a potter’s field, Nina (Cynthia Watros) took over funeral directing duties. Ms. Reeves purchased the most lavish package presented to her and seemed to hope that her actions would alleviate the lingering guilt she still possessed.
Presentation Panic
Lucy (Lynn Herring) hoped that her team of beautiful, talented ladies would woo a prospective buyer into ordering Deception Cosmetics stock…and she was sorely disappointed. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) arrived late and looked like death warmed over. Then she blundered through her sales pitch.
And now that whole enterprise rests on Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) performing the company’s signature tune, it appears that Lucy’s goose is well and truly cooked! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
