The General Hospital recap for Monday, March 2, 2020, features the citizens of Port Charles bidding one of their own adieu, Willow making a big sacrifice, and Brando being pulled into the Corinthos orbit.
General Hospital Recap
An injured Taggert (Real Andrews) was rushed to GH, followed closely behind by Tina (Sydney Mikayla), Cameron (William Lipton), Jason (Steve Burton), and Curtis (Donnell Turner).
Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Franco (Roger Howarth) and Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) met the group there. While Trina was ushered into Taggert’s room, Jordan admonished Curtis for not contacting her right away and Cameron recalled watching Jason murder his pursuer.
During his visit with Trina, Taggert promised to relocate to Port Charles indefinitely — a prospect for which the young woman was greatly enthused. At her father’s request, Trina left to track down some milk chocolate balls.
Upon her return, she was confronted with the news of Taggert’s passing. Fighting back tears, Trina railed at Lucas (Ryan Carnes) who had previously assured her that her father was stable. Afterward, she received some comfort from Jordan who promised her partner that she would ensure his daughter’s safety.
The Evil Is Contained – For Now
News of Taggert’s death hit Sonny (Maurice Benard) particularly hard considering the fact that they had just decided to lay aside their animosity and work together to bring down Cyrus Renault.
Meanwhile, Laura (Genie Francis) paid a visit to the Pentonville warden and convinced him that it would be in everyone’s best interest if Cyrus was thrown into solitary — an accomplishment that she delighted in revealing to the villain himself.
Mourning Becomes Willow
Despite Michael’s (Chad Duell) fervent pleas to the contrary, Willow (Katelyn) remained resolute in her decision to sever all ties with Wiley. When Michael had to exit the scene, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) picked up where he left off but it still wasn’t enough to convince Willow to remain in the babe’s life.
A Member of the Family
Prior to his decampment to the hospital, Sonny (Maurice Benard) tried his utmost to convince Brando (Johnny Wactor) to stay put in Port Charles — heck, he even offered to set him up with his own car repair shop.
But where he failed, Carly (Laura Wright) succeeded. Despite his desire to remain unbeholden to the mobster, Brando agreed to stay local. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
