The General Hospital recap for Friday, January 18 feature Lulu courting danger with her Ryan story — and she ends up facing the man himself.
Carly (Laura Wright) begged Sonny (Maurice Benard) to come with her to meet with “Kevin” (Jon Lindstrom) so they could get professional advice about Mike, since he’s getting worse.
Ryan waited for Sonny and Carly but it was Ava (Maura West) who stopped by. Ryan got her to leave, and Sonny and Carly arrived. He then locked the door and touched a knife that was out of sight.
Lulu called and Ryan ignored her as Carly filled him in about Mike. Ryan said he felt this was all about Morgan, surprising them. He suggested they visit Morgan’s grave…tonight. They left and he listened to Lulu’s alarming message.
Earlier, Laura (Genie Francis) told Lulu (Emme Rylan) about seeing a list of 10 of Ryan’s victims (including Felicia) on Kevin’s desk. She sent Laura to the book signing as she looked up how many people Ryan killed and it was only seven, which confused her.
Dante called, saying he’d be gone longer but she told him she loved him. She called Peter and asked him to change his mind about her story and he refused. “Kevin” arrived with his knife and closed the door.
At the book signing party, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) grew closer as he shared stories about his past. They then ghosted out of the party.
Nina (Michelle Stafford) told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) about Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) proposal and Maxie promised to support her no matter what.
Lucy read excerpts from her book, offending just about everyone. Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) wasn’t happy as she recounted Maxie getting BJ’s heart, but it fascinated Peter (Wes Ramsey).
He gave his word to Mac (John J. York) he wouldn’t publicize the tie between the serial killer and Ryan. Finally, Lucy lost her mind to hear Doc’s dating Ava and had words with her.
