The General Hospital recap for Thursday, March 5, 2020, features Liesl owning Nelle and getting pounded by Anna, Trina’s mother arriving in town guns blazing, Sonny and Jason desperate to get the drop on Jordan, and the commissioner getting some troubling news.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
After catching Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) spying on Anna (Finola Hughes) and Peter (Wes Ramsey), Liesl (Kathleen Gati) learned from him that Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) arraignment had been scheduled for earlier in the day.
As she scampered off, Anna received a copy of a document listing Liesl as someone who used a forged visa (courtesy of Faison) to travel to Afghanistan. And she immediately concluded that Liesl had murdered Drew (Billy Miller) and attempted to kill Andre (Anthony Montgomery) and Franco (Roger Howarth).
Meanwhile, Liesl cornered Nelle inside an empty courtroom and promised to have the young woman arrested for kidnapping if she dared reveal the doc’s involvement in the Wiley caper. Afterward, Liesl was confronted by a confession-seeking Anna.
Shady Business
Though he didn’t get any usable info on Peter, Spinelli gleefully revealed to Sam (Kelly Monaco) that her parole officer has been contacting a burner phone every day for the past few months.
Mother Bear
Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) mother finally arrived and she was less than pleased to find her daughter being comforted by Ava (Maura West). When Ava offered her assistance to Portia (Brook Kerr), she was soundly rebuked.
Near tears, Ava said her goodbyes and headed to the Metro Court to drown her sorrows. And since Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) was admittedly incapable of offering his wife — make that business partner — solace, it was left to Franco to talk her round.
Jordan: The Enemy of My Enemy…Is Still and Enemy
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) meeting with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) lasted for all of two seconds before the commissioner stormed out of the room. How dare Curtis reveals the fact that she was the one responsible for Cyrus’ (Jeff Kober) predicament. NOBODY had figured that out.
Sonny tried to convince Curtis to keep the lines of communication open, despite Jordan’s hesitation. But when he and Jason pushed for an explanation as to what Cyrus is holding over Jordan, Curtis walked out.
Back at her office, Jordan railed at Curtis for trying to help her and then accepted a visit from a worried Molly (Haley Pullos). TJ still hasn’t made contact after their disastrous dinner date and he hasn’t shown up for work either. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
