The General Hospital recap for Monday, March 1, 2021, features Liesl asking Maxie to listen to reason, Jackie making herself clear, and Anna and Valentin getting things done.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Liesl (Kathleen Gati) joined Maxie (Kirsten Storms) at Nathan’s grave – only to be made well aware of the fact that she wasn’t welcome. She tried, desperately, to plead her case to Maxie. Yes, she has done wrong in the past. But, she’s innocent of the crimes that got her sent to The Hague. She’s even got a certificate to prove it!

Still, her appeal for Maxi to see reason was all for naught. Not even the evocation of Nathan’s memory was enough to convince Maxie that she should back out of her and Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) wedding. No matter. Liesl had in her possession the means to Peter’s end…and it was all thanks to his natural mother!

Sometimes, Love Isn’t Enough

Though he’d hoped that the wedding festivities had dampened Jackie’s (Kim Delaney) desire for a divorce, Gregory (Gregory Harrison) was in for a disappointment. She’s still desperate to call their marriage quits…and she wants to do it sooner rather than later. For everybody’s sake.

Meanwhile, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) reiterated her support of Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) new change of employ, and the estranged pair seemed to reach a détente. But don’t call it a true reconciliation.

Expectations Lowered

While Finn (Michael Easton) fretted over the possibility that Chase (Josh Swickard) was his son, Anna (Finola Hughes) fretted over the possibility that her wedding to Finn might not even happen. Jordan tried to talk her around, but since she’s definitely not one to give advice, the whole exercise proved futile.

Voices Carry

Jason (Steve Burton) was intrigued by Franco’s (Roger Howarth) claim that he can hear Peter’s voice, and he pushed for more details. However, there wasn’t much more that Franco could share.

Let him, see…there was the Geneva-based doctor that met a sticky end. There was the fact that he clued Peter in on his auditory hallucinations. Oh, and Liesl and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) are both wrapped up in the whole sordid affair. But that’s really all he knows. Surely Jason couldn’t make sense of all that.

Mission: Ridiculously Complicated

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Anna initiated their plan to halt Peter and Maxie’s, vows- a plan which apparently consisted of having Peter gagged, bagged, trussed, and moved to an alternate location. Because nothing could have been simpler than all that mess. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
