The General Hospital recap for Thursday, September 6 features the return of Liesl Obrecht in a very unusual way.
Nina’s Baby Mystery
Nina (Michelle Stafford) was mildly shocked and horrified that nobody except Maxie (Kirsten Storms) showed for her mother’s funeral. She and Maxie lamented their lives with their mothers, with Maxie acknowledging hers wasn’t always there for her.
A homeless person later wandered in and turned out to be Liesl (Kathleen Gatti). After a very small service, Liesl told Nina there was no way Madeline really died of a heart attack.
She later overheard Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) talking to Madeline’s coffin, saying Nina is now better off with her mother dead.
In New York, Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) planned a romantic evening, but he had to meet with a convicted baby broker first. Jordan later learned the baby broker was released to live out his last days at home. Hmmm…
Catching Up Time
Griffin (Matt Cohen) caught up with several women in his life, as he and Anna (Finola Hughes) had a chat at the Metro Court after a chat with Kiki in the park.
Kiki (Hayley Erin) said she’s not at all happy that Griffin is no longer at work, and she also wondered why he doesn’t get revenge on her mother.
Later, at Charlie’s Pub, the venom came out between Ava (Maura West) and Kiki. It ended with Ava calling her daughter a whore. Maybe she shouldn’t have done that.
Buried Bodies
Mike (Max Gail) and Stella (Vernee Watson) also visited the pub, and Julian made sure Stella knew that Mike was an old pal of the original owner. He seemed to have an ulterior motive…
Later at home, Mike overheard Sonny (Maurice Benard) say if that body under Charlie’s Pub is ever found, then it could finally be the thing that brings him down.
