The General Hospital recap for Friday, July 10, 2020, features the final episode of a marathon that was devoted to Sonny and his children. In today’s show, Sonny put his listening ears on and heard a confused Kristina out.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Having caught Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) kissing Parker Forsyth (Ashley Jones), Sonny (Maurice Benard) confronted his daughter and asked for an explanation….but one wasn’t forthcoming. Turns out the young woman is just as confused over her feelings for Parker as Sonny is.
But while Kristina fretted over Sonny no longer loving her because of her same-sex interest, Sonny was more concerned over the fact that the woman his daughter chose was once her professor and mentor. When asked point-blank if could accept a gay child, Sonny answered in the affirmative.
Mother (Doesn’t) Knows Best
Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Carly (Laura Wright) bonded over the latter’s search for Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) kidney donor…but their efforts were not appreciated by the organ’s recipient. In fact, Josslyn insisted that either her mother call off the privacy-invading search or she would leave for Australia – permanently!

Carly made a big show of acquiescing to Josslyn’s demand, then she turned around and revealed to Nina and Sonny that she still planned to seek out Josslyn’s savior. Spoiler alert: It doesn’t work out well for anybody!
Fantasy Island
On Cassadine Island, a mustached Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) set about planning the execution of his hostages – which included Laura (Genie Francis), Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), and Lulu (Emme Rylan).
However, his efforts were stymied by the appearance of an armed “Jason” (Billy Miller) who managed to take out three of Valentin’s henchmen. Valentin scurried away to the mansion’s underground tunnels and issued orders for the group to be permanently silenced!
Best Laid Plans
Julian (William de Vry) was certain that his own henchperson would be able to keep him from having to attend his arraignment – on multiple criminal charges – but Nina unintentionally squashed that plan. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
