The General Hospital recap for Thursday, October 29, 2020, features Julian making a bad situation worse, Carly and Sonny worrying about Sasha’s choice of friend, and Peter receiving a call from beyond the grave.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Having already dismissed Nikolas’s (Marcus Coloma) offer to help as out of hand, Julian then conspired with Ava (Maura West) over the best way to deal with Ryan (Jon Lindstrom). Ava wanted to deceive her stalker with fake divorce papers; Julian worried that Ryan wouldn’t be so easily tricked.

Later, Julian insinuated himself into a situation with a Darth Vader-costumed patron at Charlie’s who seemed to have an unhealthy interest in Trina (Sydney Mikayla). When the men tussled, Julian wound up with the mask in his hand…leaving him standing face to face with Taggert (Real Andrews)!

The Company You Keep

Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) was disgusted to find Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) dining with Cyrus (Jeff Kober) at the Metro Court. When Sonny (Maurice Benard) joined her at the bar, Carly pointed the two out and confided her fear that Sasha was using drugs.

During their awkward conversation, Cyrus revealed that Sasha had spilled some details about friends and family the night before. After parting ways with her new confidant, Sasha accepted another package of cocaine.

Medical Woes

Following his collapse at the Floating Rib, Franco (Roger Howarth) awoke in the hospital a little worse for wear. Though he was anxious to get out, he first had to deal with Ava who paid him a visit and copped to pushing Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Nikolas together.

Franco, in turn, confessed to his and Liz’s blackmail scheme. Over at the nurse’s hub, Portia (Brook Kerr) took a look at Franco’s charts and scans and realized that there was something very, very wrong with her patient.

Answers Delivered And Raised

Anna (Finola Hughes) welcomed Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) into her home, and the two discussed Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) distrust of Peter (Wes Ramsey). Valentin worried that Jason (Steve Burton) would involve himself in the situation. Anna insisted that she and Jason had an understanding: Peter was off-limits.

Their convo was interrupted by a courier bearing the results of Faison’s genetic testing. While Anna hemmed and hawed over getting her answers, Peter and Maxie adjourned to the Metro Court where they were accosted by an overly friendly Spinelli. Then, much to Peter’s consternation, he received a phone call from a woman claiming to be his, “old friend” Helena Cassadine! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
