The General Hospital recap for Friday, March 27, 2020, features Carly playing hardball, Alexis asking for – and receiving – help from a surprising source and Cameron reassessing a situation.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Michael (Chad Duell) tracked Nelle (Chloe Lanier) down to the General Hospital roof and made once last-ditch effort to convince her to sign the surgery consent form. When consent was not forthcoming, he confided his troubles to Carly (Laura Wright) who made a beeline for her nemesis.
Once cornered, Nelle continued to stand her ground – though she wavered ever so slightly when Carly indicated that she could win valuable brownie points.
When Carly realized that she would never achieve her goal through subtle manipulation, she tried a more overt approach – one that entailed locking the stairwell door and trapping Nelle on the roof alone.
Outreach
After downing her first drink, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) ordered another. However, instead of picking up the shot glass, Alexis picked up her cell phone and set about calling her loved ones for help.
First, she tried Finn (Michael Easton), but he and Anna (Finola Hughes) were busy catching up with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Then she dialed Molly’s (Haley Pullos) number before remembering that her daughter was taking a night class.
For a moment, it appeared as though she would reach out to Neil (Joe Flanigan), but she resisted. In the end, she turned to another ex. No, not Sonny (Maurice Benard)…Julian (William deVry)!
Thanks to a mouthy barkeep, Alexis was forced to sheepishly admit that she had taken a drink. In response, Julian drove her to the nearest AA meeting. Afterward, he met up with Britt, who informed him that she was up for another round of “fun.”
Cameron: Talk Therapy
Despite his pleas to the contrary, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) insisted that Cameron (William Lipton) submit to at least one session with Neil. During the subsequent talk, the young man expressed his guilt over fleeing the warehouse while Trina (Sydney Mikayla) was still trapped inside.
He worried that his actions made him a coward but he also confessed that he was willing to go back inside the building alongside Jason (Steve Burton), an action that Neil believes should prove his client wrong.
Despite second-guessing her decision to push Cameron into therapy, Elizabeth was heartened to see that the conversation had done some good and that Cameron was willing to go back a second time. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
