The General Hospital recap for Friday, September 13, 2019 features a celebrity visiting Port Charles, a new opportunity for Sasha, a heartfelt farewell, and a surprise development in Lulu and Dustin’s relationship.
Maxie (Kristen Storms) was literally a flutter with nerves over her and Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) lunchtime meeting with journalist Tamron Hall. Hall arrived and the purpose of the meeting was made clear: Jax and Maxie want her to be on Crimson’s next cover.
Lucy (Lynn Herring) interrupted Sasha’s (Soffia Mattsson) doctor-prescribed walk around the hospital to pitch the recovering young woman on becoming the face for a relaunched Deception Cosmetics.
Sasha was tempted by the offer — and Nina (Cynthia Watros) was a little thrilled at the prospect of her daughter becoming a spokeswoman — but Liesl (Kathleen Gati) took her “niece” aside to explain the dangers of becoming a pubic figure when you have a major secret to hide.
Brad (Parry Shen) — with Lucas (Ryan Carnes) and Wiley in tow — visited Julian (William deVry) and during a moment alone he asked Julian if he had made a decision about his proposal to “off” Liesl.
Julian declined to assist his son-in-law and claimed not to be that kind of man anymore. In fact, Julian left and headed to Alexis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) office to thank her for changing him into the man he is today.
The two said their goodbyes and ended this meeting with a hug, admitting they never got over one another. (When Kim sleeps with Dranco, this can come in handy.)
Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dustin (Mark Lawson) ran into each other and he accepted her offer to show him around The Haunted Star. Their tour is overseen by a figure lurking in the shadows. Following an afternoon spent together telling tall tales and enjoying each other’s company, Dustin and Lulu kissed and head to a stateroom to make love.
It’s too bad that Laura (Genie Francis) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) were also on their way to the vessel to look for that all-important codicil and began their hunt with the staterooms. Oy. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
