The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, November 9, 2021, features megalomaniac Peter August putting all his cards on the table (almost literally), Brook Lynn Quartermaine pulling the wool over Gladys Corbin’s eyes, and Michael Corinthos disagreeing with his pops.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Peter (Wes Ramsey) has an awesome power, which he abuses on the regular. And thanks to his inability to keep anything to himself – we believe it’s called showoffites – Peter went and showed Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) exactly what he can do.
With a wave of the Tower tarot card, and the phrase, “You’re active,” he can control Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and but how. Then, with a second card, and another phrase, he can release Drew from his servitude.
And while Peter’s little demonstration put the fear of God into Britt – it also served to reveal everything that she and Jason need to know in order to turn the tables on him. What’s that saying about being hoisted on one’s own petard?
GH Recap: Playtime
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) need Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) off their back something fierce. Enter Kip the bartender (Artie O’Daly), AKA Kip the aspiring actor, AKA the guy who once did Julian Jerome a solid.
Kip puts on his best menacing baby daddy performance and manages to scare Gladys straight – or as straight as a work-shy, born blackmailer is ever going to get.
Score one for BLQ and MJ! Now, if only Maxie hadn’t paid Kip for his services in the middle of freakin’ busy as heck GH. It’s like she wanted to be caught out by Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). Well, she was caught out by Austin. Hope she’s happy!
General Hospital: A House Divided
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has spoken, and he has said that no one – that’s NO ONE, Michael (Chad Duell) – in his family will be giving Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), should he get out of the big house; and no one – that’s NO ONE, Michael – will be pulling any strings to make sure that Brad doesn’t get out of Pentonville. Grrrrr, I disagree, says Michael. I don’t care, replies Sonny.
