General Hospital Recap: Jason Convinces Sam They Can’t Be Together

The General Hospital recap for Monday, April 6, 2020, features Jason breaking Sam’s heart, Jordan issuing a threat, a villain walking free and Nina worrying about her future with Jax.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) rendezvoused at one of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) many safe houses but their revelry was ended before it ever truly began.

After being informed by his boss that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was being readied for release from Pentonville, Jason readied himself to return to the office and strategize. Sam was distraught over his exit. She became even more so once he informed her that this would be the last time they could meet for the foreseeable future.

Sam begged and pleaded for him to reconsider but Jason was resolute. They had to put the safety of their children first and since Cyrus had a nasty habit of abducting and or targeting his enemies’ families. Despite this,  Jason insisted that Sam should devote her energies to protecting them as well as herself.

Say What You Mean and Mean What You Say

Over at Pentonville, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) took the first available opportunity to tell Cyrus that if he did not release TJ (Tajh Bellow) she would personally murder him. Later, Jordan reiterated her stance to Curtis (Donnell Turner). He seemed more concerned that his wife would follow through on her claim than the man to whom the threat was issued.

Trouble In Paradise

Meanwhile, Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) did their best to calm a frazzled Trina (Sydney Mikayla). Elsewhere,  Carly (Laura Wright) interrupted Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) dinner date. She needed to update her ex on the latest situation.

The two discussed the options presented to them – let Josslyn remain in the Corinthos household or leave the country with Jax.  Nina took refuge at the Metro Court bar. Ava, her drinking companion, cautioned that she shouldn’t get too attached to Jax.

No matter what sweet nothings he whispers or how many promises he makes to her, he will always come running whenever Carly calls. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
