The General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 17, 2020, features Julian reaching the end of the line – again, – Laura getting some answers, and Trina’s dreams coming true.

General Hospital Recap

Though he survived his latest brush with death, Julian (William deVry) was peeved to realize that he’d missed his bus to Canada. He haggled with a stranger and managed to secure a ticket for the last ride of the night, then he came face to face with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton).

One of Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) lackeys attempted to eliminate the trio and got a chest full of lead for his efforts. During the melee, Julian scampered off and made his way to a footbridge…but an armed Sonny was close behind. When he caught up with his quarry, Sonny warned that the end was nigh. But is it really?

Asked And Answered

Over in Vermont, Laura (Genie Francis) fled into Florence’s bathroom and eavesdropped on a one-sided conversation between the unconscious woman and her son: Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight).

After being forced to reveal herself, Laura pumped the lawyer for information and learned that the woman she had tracked down was indeed her biological father’s wife. Furthermore, she learned that Martin was her half-brother, a fact she shared with the only slightly surprised man.

But Laura needed answers to still more questions. Most pressing of all, what connection does Cyrus have to Florence? Enter the man in question who was only too happy to confess that he was another of Florence’s children.

Reunited But It Doesn’t Feel So Good

Back in Port Charles, Mac (John J. York) did his utmost to get some answers out of Taggert (temporary recast Asante Jones) but he was stymied by Taggert’s request for a lawyer.

By sheer coincidence, Portia (Brook Kerr) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) arrived at the police station and wound up coming face to face with the man they both thought dead. Trina was initially elated at Taggert’s resurrection, but her thrill was lessened by the realization that she was lied to for months on end.

Taggert attempted to explain his position, but Trina couldn’t abide by the lies and manipulation. She and Portia made a run for it leaving Taggert dejected and facing the prospect of time spent in a jail cell.

Meanwhile, Chase (Josh Swickard) attempted to play nice with Michael (Chad Duell) and received a knee to the groin for his efforts! However, the incident seemed to soothe some of Michael’s ire. So, yay? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
