The General Hospital recap for August 24-28, 2020, features the apparent end of Nelle Benson (for now) and complications for Jordan that raise a number of questions.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) never does anything by half measures. Unless you count her near murder of Brook Lynn (Briana Lane). And even then, she aimed to kill. It isn’t Nelle’s fault that BLQ has such thick, un-sliceable vocal cords.
When finally cornered at her swanky hideout – which was apparently a cabin owned by the Corinthos family; where’s that darling little house with the picket fence she purchased a few months back – Nelle cut her losses and headed for the hills…literally.
It was just Nelle’s misfortune that, in her haste to escape Carly (Laura Wright), that she stepped right off the mountainside – not unlike a certain evil queen from a particular Disney classic.
In Carly’s defense, she did try and pull her most hated rival to safety. To her detriment, she hesitated a good while before doing so. In the aftermath of Nelle’s supposedly fatal plummet, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) preached discretion but will Carly really, actually, you know, listen?
The Perils of Partnership
What a tangled web Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) has weaved. And how quickly it has begun to unravel. Not only is Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) privy to the truth about Taggert’s (Real Andrews) survival but now Jason (Steve Burton) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) are as well.
Both men took the news in stride – again everybody in Port Charles is used to everybody else coming back from the dead – but it didn’t exactly instill confidence in Jordan or her handling of the situation.
Which one of Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) nearest and dearest has gotten themselves into a jam with the WSB? Give us your opinions in the comments section below.
And while you’re there, let us know if you’d rather see a Cameron/Josslyn pairing or a Cameron/Trina pairing. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
