The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 23, 2020, features Carly’s fears getting the best of her, Trina taking matters into her hands, Alexis continuing to spiral, and Cyrus overplaying his hand.
Despite her better judgment, Carly (Laura Wright) paid Nelle’s (Chloe) freshly-covered grave a visit. She and Nina (Cynthia Watros) sparred, and then Carly envisioned Nelle’s corpse attempting to drag her six feet under! Her tussle with the specter ruined the headstone that Nina paid for so Ms. Reeves phoned Jax (Ingo Rademacher) and ordered him to attend to his ex.
Over at Kelly’s, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) and Cameron (William Lipton) discussed their feelings for one another. Trina admitted to being just as confused as Cameron and the young man found comfort in her confession.
Later, Trina pulled Cameron into another kiss…and it led her to conclude that the two of them were better off as friends. But even though that issue was cleared up, Cameron still worried about his relationship with Josslyn (Eden McCoy). And worry he should. If scheming Dev (Aston Arbab) has anything to say about, it will be a relationship he’ll destroy before it can blossom into something romantic.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) did her best to convince either Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) or Jax to join her in a drink but her efforts were to no avail. Britt wasn’t interested in sharing the hard stuff and Jax refused to enable her alcoholism.
Instead, Britt and Jax attended to matters of business. She needs a cash infusion for GH. He has the available funds. But since Britt is aligned with the likes of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Jax turned her down flat.
And no was not an answer that Cyrus found acceptable. Especially since he had just received the same from Julian (William de Vry) when he inquired about buying Charlie’s. Again.
The disgruntled ‘businessman’ mused that Julian could find himself in the same predicament as his recently-deceased wife…so, in turn, Julian contacted a hitman who could eliminate his persistent problem. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
