The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, November 20 features Jordan solving a mystery for the first time ever. Of course, she did have some help.
Today, your favorite Port Charles pals threw it all the way back to 1981 and 1993, respectively — 2018 style.
Come along for the ride on this epic tale, and then we’ll even get to the actual soap stuff.
Your typical bachelor and bachelorette parties are just too unworthy of Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis (Donnell Turner), who wanted none of that. So, their friends listened and threw a Jack and Jill event in an escape room.
One room was set to remember the Ryan Chamberlain funhouse murders that’s been front page news at The Invader of late. The other room was Cassadine Island, where carbonic snow threatened to freeze the world.
The rooms were filled with figures wearing the faces of a host of Port Charles villians, via paper masks. In attendance were Ryan Chamberlain himself (well, not really, he was elsewhere in PC), Diego Alcazar, Heather Webber, and even our beloved Franco.
On the other side, we had Helena and Stavros Cassadine, and Cesar Faison to spook the partygoers out.
It didn’t take long for everyone to get bored and decide they want to leave, but the teen in charge fell asleep, meaning they had to crack the code themselves.
Well, good thing Curtis and Sam (Kelly Monaco) own that detective agency because they seemed to have an easier time than the police commissioner, WSB agent, and investigative reporter. Still, they eventually put it all together on a 1980s DOS computer, typed the word ICE PRINCESS and walked out. Hooray!
(Seriously, Lulu, your parents never told you this story? We find that VERY hard to believe.)
So, that was a successful party, and maybe even the wedding would be a success. Stella (Vernee Watson) and Marcus had a heart to heart that was clearly designed to make sure Stella becomes a surprise guest at that wedding next week.
Soap Plot On Steroids
And now for the soapy drama that didn’t go very soap-like. Kiki (Hayley Erin) was horrified when she walked into Sasha’s hotel room and found Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) naked (yet sleeping) in bed.
This is when the setup breaks up the couple for months, but since one half is leaving the show, the pair was able to deduce Ava (Maura West) set the whole thing up in just one block before a commercial break. WOW!
Griffin managed to look down and notice he had no clothes on, get dressed, chase Kiki through the restaurant while still buttoning his shirt, realize he had a bump on his head, argue with Kiki, and decide Sasha was drugged before we could blink.
After we blinked, Kiki was already berating Ava for what she did, and Ava was typically denying it all as Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) watched and listened with glee.
