The General Hospital recap for December 2-6, 2019, features two murder plots gone wrong, a deception rumbled, a tradition continued, and storyline swerves that left lots of questions.
After stabbing Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) with a handy dandy needle full of a paralytic agent, Kendra (Michelle Argyris) drug her out onto the lonely stretch of highway that bore witness to Kiefer’s hit and run.
Back in her own car, and planning to flatten Alexis like Wile E. Coyote, Kendra hit the gas, only to be T-boned by another vehicle. The occupants of the tool that proved to be Alexis’ salvation were Brad (Parry Shen) and Lucas (Ryan Carnes), who were unaware that they were traveling in a death-trap courtesy of a seriously pissed off Julian (William deVry).
Everyone was rushed to the hospital and, since this is a soap opera and attempted murderers rarely prosper, Julian learned that his son took the brunt of the crash and his prognosis is grim. Brad made a quick recovery and spent the majority of his time beside his husband’s bedside trying to will him to awaken.
Let’s hope that when he does, Lucas clearly remembers that the last thing he heard before going boom was Brad blurting out that the child they’re currently rearing actually belongs to Michael (Chad Duell) and Nelle (Chloe Lanier).
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is absolutely fed up with Cassadine men. She also revealed herself to be a very smart cookie and a wise strategist. Take for instance her quick deduction that Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) is alive and well and gaslighting poor Ava (Maura West) into forking over Helena’s portrait.
Then consider her no-less-than-amazing suggestion that she and Ava team up to take down everyone who has lied to and hurt them. Maybe the offer was spur of the moment — but the possibilities are nonetheless endless and certainly delicious.
Just when Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) thought she was going to get to serve her done to a turn feast, Monica (Leslie Charleson) went and donated it to the hospital. One could argue it was an act of sabotage but Dr. Quartermaine’s rebuttal would be that she was simply carrying on the family tradition of gorging on pizza and instigating major blow-ups.
Whatever happened to Harmony? You know, the woman who spent the majority of the summer as Nelle’s cellmate. Did she get transferred to a prison closer to Beechers Corners or was her presence simply ignored so the writers could pair Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Nelle as roomies?
On a scale of 0 to Violet, how cute would the spawn of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard) be? And since the couple has decided to let nature take its course and decide the right time ...continue reading on the next page —>
On a scale of 0 to Violet, how cute would the spawn of Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase (Josh Swickard) be? And since the couple has decided to let nature take its course and decide the right time to procreate for them, how long do you give it before there’s a new bundle of joy in Port Charles?
Was Kendra channeling her inner Helena during her final moments on earth? That whole, “Death will find you…wherever you go,” sounded awfully curse-y didn’t it?
Just what kind of trouble has Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) gotten herself into to and who is making all of those ‘harassing’ phone calls? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
