The General Hospital recap for Friday, April 9, 2021, features Anna and Valentin dealing with their Peter problem, someone being poisoned, and a teenager in crisis.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Peter (Wes Ramsey) swung by Anna’s (Finola Hughes) to deliver a threat to her and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) which he attempted to disguise as an olive branch. They both declined; Peter went off to scheme another scheme.
Later, they invited him back, but upon entering the house, Peter was ambushed by a gun toeing Valentin. Looks like someone’s overestimated himself!
Reconciliation Station
Gregory (Gregory Harrison), Jackie (Kim Delaney), Chase (Josh Swickard), and Finn (Michael Easton) gathered for what began as the mother of all awkward family dinners, and culminated in a surprisingly good time. Turns out, they all are adult enough to put the past in perspective and soldier on ahead.
But they aren’t so staid that they won’t indulge Chase a childhood habit of spinning drinks on a Lazy Susan in what we’re dubbing “drinks roulette.” It’s just too bad that one of those refreshments was chock full of poison, courtesy of Peter!
Parent Trap
Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) invited Martin (Michael E. Knight) to a sit-down, during which he proceeded to subtly interrogate his uncle for info about Florence and her possible location. Thanks to his ingeniousness, Nikolas deduced that where there was hummingbird cake, there the old woman would be.
Safety First
An injured Josslyn (Eden McCoy) fumed over the fact that she won’t be able to play volleyball for two weeks. How will she ever be able to impress that stuffy college, the one that doesn’t even really want her, now?
Further complications arose when she refused to tell Carly (Laura Wright) the truth about her waitlisting despite Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) pleas to the contrary.
In Josslyn’s defense, she’s well aware of the fact that her mother could give a crap. Jason’s (Steve Burton) fate is the only thing on her mind at the moment. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
