The General Hospital recap for November 2-6, 2020, features the adoption of a brand new concept: good triumphing over the forces of evil.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Evil usually reigns supreme in Port Charles, so you’ll have to color us surprised that so many of GH’s big bads failed to come out on top. First, there was Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
He’s usually the smartest, most dangerous person in the room, so it was a surprise to see him receive a literal knife to the back. And right before he could rat Julian (William de Vry) out to Sonny (Maurice Benard).
But have no fear, Julian didn’t fare so well either. Ryan might have been silenced, but Taggert (Real Andrews) was alive and well and all to eager to help Sonny to connect some dots were his rival was concerned. Julian’s currently alive and well but he’s being frog marched to Sonny’s by a doggedly determined Jason (Steve Burton) so it’s anyone’s guess how long he stays that way.
And then there’s poor, poor Alex (Finola Hughes). All she really wanted to do was murder her sister and assume her identity. Is that too much to ask? Apparently so. And now, thanks to Anna’s (Finola Hughes) selfish desire to survive, Alex has had to resort to plan B. And that involves shooting Finn (Michael Easton), taking a hostage – a pregnant Maxie (Kirsten Storms) will fit the bill just perfectly – and taking off for parts unknown.
But wouldn’t you know it…Anna isn’t interested in seeing her sister’s dreams manifest into reality. She’d much rather ensure Alex’s arrest…or death. It might come to death since Alex isn’t about to give up or give in. And she loves a good shoot out.
GH Musings
What to expect when you’re expecting to die from a brain tumor? Well, Franco (Roger Howarth) expects Jason to kill him. Which Jason would just love to do. But Stone Cold also has Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and the kids to consider…will he let that stand in the way of fulfilling one of his greatest desires?
Let’s see…Epiphany (Sonya Eddy), Jason, Sonny, Jordan, and now Ava (Maura West) and Julian (William de Vry). Isn’t just about time that Taggert reveals himself to the world?
Speaking of Epiphany, when we advocated for some storylines, we didn’t mean that we wanted to see her demoted and dumped.
What exactly do you think is the driving force behind Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) return to Port Charles. Clearly, something transpired back in Boston…but what could it have been?
It’s hard to take advice from a hitman’s moll…even when it’s sound. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) knows that she needs to stop drinking. But she’s also right to point out the flaws in Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) parenting style.
Yes, staying with a mass murderer IS bad for your children. Though the advice comes from an alcoholic on a bender, it doesn’t diminish its truth. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
