General Hospital Recap (GH): Time Is Up For Dr. Bensch, And Lulu Is Ready!

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, June 7 features a day of court cases beginning and also coming to a fever pitch.

Secrets Kept And Exposed
Griffin (Matt Cohen) was ready to tell Ava (Maura West) what happened with Kiki (Hayley Erin) the night of The Nurses’ Ball when Kiki showed up at the Metro Court and Ava interrupted the conversation to see her daughter.

Ava mentioned Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva) visiting the gallery and telling her he’s worried about Kiki, which unnerved the young woman.

Kiki was actually there to meet with Lulu (Emme Rylan) and tell her the entire sordid Dr. Bensch story so she could publicize it. Lulu was horrified about everything she heard and was ready to go ahead with the story as soon as her editor approved it.

Perjury
After the Metro Court, Griffin and Ava headed to the courthouse where Nelle (Chloe Lanier) gave Ava a hug and during the hug warned her not to say anything about the blanket.

So, Ava told the story Nelle wanted told and pretty much perjured herself on the stand.

Nelle then perjured herself as well when she told her side, which was all bald-faced lying. She even put on a show and made up recurring nightmares of falling and not being able to reach her baby. She then pretended she was going to faint when she got off the stand.

Michael (Chad Duell) was there by her side, but it was all just an act and the only one who seems to know that is Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Witness Trauma
Josslyn (Eden McCoy) also had to get up on the stand and was terrified she’d say something that would throw her mother in jail. Sonny (Maurice Benard) then sent Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) home with Joss to make sure she was ok.

The prosecution rested its case in record time and it seems Diane is losing her touch because she refused to cross examine any of the witnesses.
