The General Hospital recap (GH) features some finger-licking-good fun as Maxie’s old friend arrives in town for a good old-fashioned American meal.
11 Herbs And Spices
What do two busy moms without dads around need more than anything but a quick and easy meal, plus good conversation?
Well, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) got just that when they had some crispy fried chicken, a few biscuits, and iced tea with none other than Colonel Sanders (George Hamilton).
It turns out Maxie knows the man who died in 1980 thanks to Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and a hacking job he helped solve when the colonel’s secret recipe was nearly stolen. People are still after it, so he found the perfect hiding spot in Maxie’s apartment and then took off.
YES, THIS REALLY HAPPENED ON OUR GENERAL HOSPITAL SCREENS!!!
And then, some soap opera stuff happened too.
At Least He Has A Snack
Like Peter (Wes Ramsey). He remained tied to a bed when a scout (not the one who belongs to Sam and Drew) returned to find his bugle.
Peter did everything he could to convince young Wyatt to rescue him, but the kid rightfully wondered who would believe him. However, he brought Peter a crumbled S’more, which was very nice of him.
Dead and Buried
Since this is GH, we also had to worried about bodies buried by a mobster’s well-meaning dad below an ex-mobster’s pub. Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) were totally freaked when Julian (William deVry) casually mentioned he plans to expand. Julian, keep your mouth SHUT.
Not-So-Dead Yet
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Ava (Maura West) dressed lovely for a brunch in a bar where Ava wondered if Nelle planned to make sure Michael (Chad Duell) has an accident some time soon. Chase (Josh Swickard) wondered the same, but then suggested Michael fake his death because why not?
Michael then asked Nelle to marry him right away because again, why the heck not? Let’s speed this up already. (PLEASE.)
To Not Tell The Truth
Kiki (Hayley Erin) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) fretted over their one night together and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who isn’t as dumb as her taste in men, knew they were hiding something from her and she was determined to find out what it is. Sadly, Kiki is determined to lie. Not good, Kiki, not good.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
