The General Hospital recap (GH) for Friday, May 4 features Valentin’s underhanded tricks… and Peter’s barrel of lies.

Gotcha!
Robert (Tristan Rogers) thought he had things with Anna (Finola Hughes) all under control as she assured him she wouldn’t reveal to Henrik that she’s his mother–and that Jason wouldn’t kill the man.

He then got a call ostensibly from the WSB and got on a private plane out of town. That’s when he took a drink and looked up to see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) laughing. Robert realized Valentin drugged his drink and then passed out.

Before Valentin poisoned Robert, he had to play peacekeeper between Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Nina (Michelle Stafford).

Nina Really Fell For This?
Peter claimed he made the Nathan scrapbook out of the goodness of his heart for Nina and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) by getting information from Liesl–and Nina’s mother, who’s in jail.

Nina was surprised when his story somehow checked out, so she called Curtis (Donnell Turner) and told him to stop his investigation.

There’s Something About Henrik
Maxie had a visitor at Nathan’s grave and it was Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) thanking her and Nathan for helping get him off opioids. He gave Maxie some sage advice and she decided to keep the donated money from Henrik.

She then told Peter all about it and the two oddly bonded when he felt the baby move in her belly. That really should have been Nathan.

Nutty Nelle
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) continued her goodness and purity routine, while Carly (Laura Wright) was shocked that she really named her and Sonny (Maurice Benard) as guardians. Carly felt something was fishy about the whole thing and Sonny wasn’t as concerned.

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was angry when Carly never showed up to shop for Nelle’s baby shower as she’s still as taken with the young woman as ever. Michael (Chad Duell) also can’t see through her tricks. And round and round we go.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
