The General Hospital recap (GH) for Tuesday, May 8 features Valentin’s shock as Peter makes his feelings known.
Getting Close…
Peter (Wes Ramsey) feels the walls closing in on him as he fears people discovering he’s really Henrik Faison. He was unnerved when Sam (Kelly Monaco) told him she was in Bern, Switzerland and pointedly asked if he’d ever been there.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was also surprised that Sam is going to still work for Aurora, but Sam didn’t tell her it was to investigate Peter.
When Peter met with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart), he wanted to know why Valentin was trying to protect Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
He asked what it is about her that people seem so obsessed with her. He told Valentin she’s a liability who must be taken care of. He did not seem to know that Anna is his mother.
Maxie and Nina (Michelle Stafford) later shared some tender moments when Nina showed her sister-in-law the scrapbook Peter made of Nathan.
Shared Memories
At the boxing gym, Jason (Steve Burton) and Drew (Billy Miller) ran into one another and had a somewhat civil conversation. Jason told Drew about his trip to Switzerland and what they learned, and let his brother know he’s done sharing memories with him.
Of course, Drew had to tell him he remembered every horrible thing Jason has ever done, but he did decide he needs his own memories, but would find them his way.
Charles Street SOLVED!
At the Q mansion, Ned (Wally Kurth) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) argued about the Charles Street residents suing the city of Port Charles. Ned accused Alexis of doing this just to keep herself in the public spotlight.
They then had a relevant political argument of people showing up to vote and making a difference in the next election.
Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) then showed up to interrupt the ruckus and let them know Jim Harvey’s company was ready to offer a settlement for all the damage he had done.
