The General Hospital recap (GH) for Monday, May 21 features a very special roadside delivery as Henrik Faison delivered his nephew.
Maxie’s Bouncing Baby Boy
There was no waiting for an ambulance for Maxie (Kirsten Storms). As any woman who’s ever given birth will tell you, when it’s time to push, there’s nothing else the body can do.
So, freaked out as he was, Peter (Wes Ramsey) was forced to catch Maxie’s baby on the side of the road.
Thankfully, the ambulance showed right after to take Maxie and her new son to the hospital, but Peter made sure to call Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) as per Maxie’s request. Then, he figured he’d keep his date with Anna since Maxie was quick and there was still time.
Anna’s Bouncing Baby Boy
Anna (Finola Hughes) waited all hour for her son to show and when he finally did, she was surprised to see Peter, who then told her he’s Henrik and couldn’t believe the WSB couldn’t come up with a better plan than to send Anna as a decoy.
When Anna tried to tell him the truth, he pulled a gun.
Spinelli was with Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) when he heard from Peter. By then, they’d already deduced that Anna was leaving Jason out of her plan thanks to emails Spinelli found.
When they realized Peter didn’t go with Maxie to the hospital, Jason went to the pier and Sam headed to the hospital.
What Can Go Wrong In A Hospital With Nelle?
Maxie wanted to see her baby in the hospital, but Kim (Tamara Braun) insisted she stay in bed and the baby had to stay in the NICU. However, she brought Maxie a tablet so she could watch her son on a webcam.
Havin’ A Ball
Back at The Nurses’ Ball, Nina (Michelle Stafford) overheard Robert (Tristan Rogers) tell Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) that he knows he was keeping Henrik’s identity a secret all along.
Valentin promised to tell Nina everything when they got to their vacation destination. Oh sure, Valentin. You’re going on vacation.
During performance time, Mike (Max Gail) forgot the words to his song and Sonny had to help him.
Then, an angry Ava (Maura West) spotted Griffin (Matt Cohen) and Kiki (Hayley Erin) in a close moment before she went on and sang “You Don’t Own Me” because nobody does own Ava Jerome.
