General Hospital Recap (GH): The Nurses’ Ball Begins!

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Wednesday, May 16 features the red carpet start of The 2018 Nurses’ Ball.

Red Carpet Time
All of Port Charles walked the red carpet and up to the camera and microphone to talk about being at The Nurses’ Ball, as well as AIDS research. Franco (Roger Howarth) started the show by stealing the microphone and introducing Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), but so much more went on.

Oscar (Garren Stitt) and Joss (Eden McCoy) felt like movie stars and Lucy showed up with a llama for reasons we have yet to learn.

We even met Cook (Carla Hall) for the first time as Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) needed a chef for the ball at the last minute and had to agree to never go in the Quartermaine kitchen again.

Finding Faison’s Son Goes On
Anna (Finola Hughes) prepared to meet her son for the first time, having know idea that he’s really Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Even Robin (Kimberly McCullough) showing up at the last minute as she always does did not deter her from this plan.

We learned Robert (Tristan Rogers) was behind bars somewhere thanks to Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Peter still wanted to know why he won’t do anything about Anna. However, he also gave a very pregnant Maxie a new necklace she couldn’t say no to.

Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) ran into each other at the ball and while she wanted him to stay, this was never really his thing and not about to become his thing now. But, they both said they have their own leads on Henrik.

Stella Gets Around
It seems that Jason is the only one who believes in Carly’s innocence, as Sonny continued insisting she’s losing her mind. Jason reminded him she’d never hurt that baby, but that didn’t mean anything to Sonny (Maurice Benard), who arrived at the ball with Mike (Max Gail) and Stella (Vernee Watson).

With Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) plans, it also looks like Stella is in for her most surprising night yet since moving to Port Charles.
