The General Hospital recap (GH) for Friday, July 13th features a day full of Nelle. Really. The ENTIRE HOUR was about Nelle and her dreaded wedding to Michael. All of it.
The day started with Nelle (Chloe Lanier) getting herself into the perfect wedding makeup and Ava (Maura West) stopping by to warn her that this might not go as planned. She also warned her Carly would come after her one day.
Well, Carly (Laura Wright) was just frantic locked in her Ferncliff room and used her burner cell to call Michael (Chad Duell) and beg him not to go through with it. She then faked a panic attack to get Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) to prescribe a sedative, but she attacked Mary Pat with the needle.
Meanwhile, the guests arrived and nobody was happy to be there. Sam (Kelly Monaco) wore black per her usual wardrobe, but Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) made an entrance truly fit for a funeral. Lulu (Emme Rylan) then wondered who the heck gets married on Friday the 13th. Good point, Lulu.
Back in her Metro Court room, Nelle was surprised to see Chase (Josh Swickard) at her door. He professed his undying love for her and once again begged her not to marry Michael.

He then kissed her and Nelle likely would have done the deed right then and there (cause it’s Chase, guys) with him if she wasn’t nine months pregnant – and if Joss (Eden McCoy) didn’t walk in.
Nelle quickly changed her tune, pushed Chase off of her, and claimed he was attacking her. Joss seemed to buy it.
Somehow, Oscar (Garren Stitt) was the wedding photographer and Ava got a whiff of him. Yes, a whiff. She thought it was interesting that he was wearing Morgan’s cologne brand and that Joss gave it to him.
Finally, the wedding began and when Ned got to the “speak now and forever hold their peace” part, Carly rushed in and did not hold her peace at all. Uh-oh!
