General Hospital Recap (GH): Maxie Brought Her Baby Home!

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Monday, July 9th features quite a day for Maxie as she brought baby James home from the hospital.

A Happy Day For Maxie
Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) day started with some KFC and Colonel Sanders (George Hamilton)  hiding his secret recipe in her apartment and ended with her taking in some Yankees baseball with Baby James West.

In between, she had Nina (Michelle Stafford) to help with diaper changes and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) there to deliver inspiring words. Of course, both women are hiding a big secret and Maxie let Nina know in no uncertain terms she doesn’t want Peter dead.

Peter’s Desperation
Out in the woods, Peter (Wes Ramsey) begged his young scout friend for help, but he had to hide under the bed when Liesl arrived. He left his bugle once again and when Liesl found it, Nina had to run in and pretend it was hers, which was very strange.

Liesl then cut her own finger in order to get Bensch (James DePaiva) to write her an antibiotic prescription since Peter’s fever spiked again.

Tall Tales Or The Truth!
Interestingly, young Wyatt was at the hospital to tell his art therapist about the man tied to the bed and the mean lady with the accent.

He and Franco (Roger Howarth) then saw the mean lady with the accent, prompting him and Finn to want to know more as Liesl claimed innocence and got onto the elevator as fast as possible. Finn (Michael Easton) was also interested in this story.

(We have no idea why Wyatt is always wandering places by himself with no parents – like the woods and hospitals. What is his mode of transportation?)

Corinthos Problems
At The Metro Court, Michael (Chad Duell) managed to convince Nelle (Chloe Lanier) to marry him that day, but Chase had a warning for her that things could go horribly wrong.

Over at Charlie’s Pub, Sonny (Maurice Benard) realized things might go horribly wrong for him if Julian expands and finds that body. Later, Julian (William deVry) found a picture of Mike and Charlie from 1983, piquing his curiosity.
