General Hospital Recap (GH): Liesl Has Lost Her Mind!

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Wednesday, July 18 features an out-of-control Liesl willing to do anything to enact revenge against the man she thinks destroyed her son.

Franco (Roger Howarth) figured out what was going on with Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and thought he’d talked some sense into her. But nope. She conked him on the head and hid him behind some boxes on the pier before taking off to Spoon Island.

Meanwhile, Nina (Michelle Stafford) decided she couldn’t take anymore and untied Peter. They were actually going to see him stand up until Liesl walked in with some alcohol and a rag, ready to cause some seriously hot damage.

At the Metro Court, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) recognized the bartender from somewhere and eventually figured out he was the man who insisted West Nile Virus was on Spoon Island.

The bartender was more interested in making sure Valentin comes to see him in Bye-Bye Birdie. (Because community theater really is important, as per the writer of this recap.)

When Valentin made his way over to the launch, where he heard Franco’s moans before he could do anything else.

Now, we turn to Nelle (Chloe Lanier) because Nelle and Peter are just about the whole show. The twisted young woman told Chase (Josh Swickard) that something strange is going on with Michael and she now wants Chase’s help.

At the same time, Michael (Chad Duell) was busy telling Sonny about his plan to fake his death while setting up Nelle to have Chase kill him. At the hospital, he made sure Nelle overheard him talking about divorcing her as soon as the baby is born.

But wait, Julian and Kim had some story, too. Julian showed Sonny the picture of Mike and Charlie to antagonize him, while Kim begged Julian to just leave well enough alone.
