General Hospital Recap (GH): A Baby Shower (NOT) To Remember?

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Thursday, May 10 features a baby shower Port Charles won’t soon forget.

Carly’s Problems
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is not the most-liked girl in town, but that didn’t stop Monica and Carly from throwing her a baby shower. There were even surprise guests, including Avery, Ava, and Brad.

While Nelle should have been thrilled with all this, she used it as part of her sinister plot to gaslight Carly (Laura Wright) and drive her crazy.

Ava (Maura West) knew something would go wrong with the mystery gift she was forced to give and it did. It was a penguin mobile that reminded Carly of Morgan.

That cause Carly to throw the mobile against the wall and accuse Ava of trying to play mind games with her. Ava was pissed, but Nelle was pleased as she continued her little woe is me act.

Sonny’s Problems
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) feared his past would come back to haunt him due to the body he buried in Croton as Mike feared he’d lose his past entirely.

Finn Family History
Lucy (Lynn Herring) managed to get another recruit to perform at The Nurses’ Ball in the form of Detective Chase (Josh Swickard). She later found out Dante and the other cops are trying to play a trick on him.

At the Metro Court, Finn (Michael Easton) apologized to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and then told him about his past. He admired her college professor father, loved his mother, and was devastated when his dad remarried before her grave was even cold.

Alexis told him all about her family too–the Crazy Cassadines and her even more crazy barrage of half-brothers.
