The General Hospital recap (GH) for Monday, April 23 features Anna finally coming clean about why she’s so desperate to find Henrik Faison.
Anna Has A Story To Tell
Robert (Tristan Rogers) knows Anna (Finola Hughes) better than anyone and it didn’t take long for him to figure out the reason she wants to find Faison’s son so bad is because he’s her son as well.
Anna confessed it’s true and told Robert the whole sordid story of how she got pregnant and ended up a DVX agent, and was then reformed when she met him. They did not discuss that he was allegedly her first lover because they must have forgotten that tidbit.
Safety Deposit Discoveries
She also told him that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) knew about her baby and lo and behold, Jason (Steve Burton), Sam (Kelly Monaco), and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) showed up with a conundrum box with the Cassadine seal.
The trio also learned Henrik took two letters from the safe deposit box after Faison died, but the box did have a picture of Anna in it. Was that Faison’s or Henrik–meaning, does Henrik know who his mother is?

Nina The Matchmaker
Speaking of Henrik (Wes Ramsey), he had an interesting dinner at the Cassadines as Nina (Michelle Stafford) tried to set him up with a model and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) stopped by and put a stop to that immediately. Valentin also told Peter, aka Henrik, that Nina is onto him and he better be careful.
Ava And Nelle In Action
At the PCPD, Ava (Maura West) threatened to put Mike (Max Gail) in jail if Sonny (Maurice Benard) didn’t agree to give her custody of Avery. He then allowed her one night with Avery to get Mike home for the evening, but Ava is not about to give this one up.
Back at Casa Corinthos, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael (Chad Duell) bonded as she put on the sweetness act and he totally fell for it as usual.
