General Hospital Recap (GH): Alexis Had Some Words With Sam!

The General Hospital recap (GH) for Tuesday, April 17 features Sam just wanting to be Sam–and laying that out in no uncertain terms.

Sam Is Ready For Adventure
Sam (Kelly Monaco) immediately wanted to go help Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) out of his jail problem and asked Jason (Steve Burton) to watch the kids, but lo and behold, Alexis showed up. And, boy was Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) dismayed to see Jason there.

Jason left to go take care of Spinelli and Alexis confronted Sam on the interesting coincidence that Jason just so happened to be in Switzerland at the same hotel.

She saw how much Sam wanted to go with Jason and accused her of wanting to get back together with him. Sam denied it, but told her solving cases is who she is and if she was with Jason she’d feel like herself for the first time in a long time.

Spinelli Is Clever
Well, it turns out Spinelli knew Sam was in Switzerland and was happy to beckon Jason there.
Once Jason got Spinelli out of jail, Sam caught up with them after convincing Alexis to take the kids back to Port Charles.

The Search For Avery
Speaking of Port Charles, a lot happened there, as well. Sonny (Laura Wright) and company were frantic to find Mike (Max Gail) and Avery and Ava (Maura West) even wanted to file kidnapping charges. Everyone tried to talk her out of that one, but she seemed adamant.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) spent most of the episode in bed agreeing to disagree about her career and Peter August (Wes Ramsey), but Dante ran to his father’s once they got the alert about Avery.

Ready For The Nurses’ Ball
Kim (Tamara Braun) and Julian (William deVry) grew closer as Lucy (Lynn Herring) convinced Kim to perform at The Nurses’ Ball and Kim convinced Julian to be her date for the ball, so we guess it’s that time of year again.
